Three new multi-million-dollar ambulance branches have hit exciting milestones.
Builders have been appointed to construct new ambulance branches in Euroa and Yarram. A builder has also been appointed to deliver an important upgrade to the Ocean Grove Ambulance Branch.
Euroa Ambulance Branch
Crow Constructions has been appointed to construct the new Euroa Ambulance Branch.
Conveniently located adjacent to Euroa Health on Weir Street, Euroa, the new ambulance branch will include:
- a three-bay ambulance garage
- two rest and recline areas
- longer term accommodation facilities
- training facilities
- a fully equipped kitchen
- improved security and parking.
Ocean Grove Ambulance Branch
Circon Constructions has been appointed to upgrade the Ocean Grove Ambulance Branch.
The project involves:
- upgrading rest areas
- upgrading medical stores and delivery rooms
- new training rooms
- improved security and parking.
Upgrades to fencing, vehicle access and secure carparking are also included in the project.
Yarram Ambulance Branch
Kubale Constructions has been appointed to construct the new Yarram Ambulance Branch.
Located on Lawler Street, Yarram, the new ambulance branch will include:
- a three-bay ambulance garage
- two rest and recline areas
- longer term accommodation facilities
- training facilities
- a fully equipped kitchen
- improved security and parking.
Ambulance Victoria Development Program
The Victorian Government has committed approximately $279 million since 2015 to upgrade and rebuild ambulance branches.
The new and upgraded buildings will provide better working conditions for paramedics and ensure lifesaving emergency care is available for all Victorians.
