Expression of interest: Rutherglen aged care facility – Main works contractor

We’re seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) for a main works contractor on the new $57.11 million Rutherglen aged care facility.

Expression of Interest applications close at 2.00 pm on 13 October 2022.

Following evaluation, a request for tender will be issued to shortlisted contractors. The successful contractor is expected to be appointed in mid-2023.

About the project

The project involves construction of a new 50-bed aged care facility in Rutherglen.

The project will deliver:

• a new 50-bed residential aged care facility
• single rooms with private ensuites
• flexible shared spaces and common areas
• features to support a range of complex care needs and mobility, including those living with dementia.

Early works are expected to begin by late 2022. The new facility is due for completion in mid-2025.

Subcontractors, manufacturers and/or product suppliers are able to submit an expression of interest for:

• furniture, fittings and equipment
• medtech
• any other opportunities that may arise from the project.
