Expression of interest: Westside Lodge dual diagnosis expansion – Construction works

Expressions of Interest (EOI) are now open for Head Contractor on the $9.42 million Westside Lodge dual diagnosis expansion project.

EOI submissions close on 26 May 2022 at 2pm. The EOI forms the initial stage of the procurement process with the objective of shortlisting proponents for the following Request for Tender (RFT) stage.

The expansion project seeks EOI responses from experienced and capable contractors interested in performing the role of Fixed Price Lump Sum Contractor for the construction and building commissioning of the project.

About the Westside Lodge dual diagnosis expansion project

The Westside Lodge dual diagnosis expansion project is refurbishing and expanding the current unit located on the Sunshine Hospital site in St Albans. Construction is set to commence in late 2022 with the project expected to be complete in mid 2023.

Operated by Western Health, the Westside Lodge residential rehabilitation facility offers a three month long therapeutic program for people experiencing ill mental health and/or alcohol or drug use issues who have completed a substance detox.

The Westside Lodge dual diagnosis unit expansion will provide:

  • an additional 10 residential beds
  • the refurbishment of support areas.
