Four new Ambulance Victoria branches in construction

Construction has started on new ambulance branches in Moe, Warragul, Mornington and Lilydale.

The new branches will operate 24 hours a day and give paramedics the facilities and support they need to quickly respond to local emergencies.

Each new branch will include:

  • multi-bay garages for ambulances
  • a fully equipped kitchen
  • training facilities
  • bedrooms to rest and recuperate
  • improved security and car parking.

The location of the new branches allows ease of access to main roads, schools, shopping precincts and community facilities.

All four ambulance branches are expected to be completed in mid-2022.

Ambulance Victoria development program

The Victorian Government has committed around $249 million since 2015-16 to upgrade and rebuild ambulance stations. This investment provides better working conditions for paramedics and ensures lifesaving emergency care is available for all Victorians.
