TEXT: Planning for a new Melton Hospital
Voiceover: Planning for a new Melton Hospital is underway, and we need your help. We’ve invested $2.4 million to start planning the number, type and range of services delivered by the new hospital, and how they’ll link with other healthcare facilities within the region.
IMAGES: Animated figures representing hospital planners and community members are gathered around a whiteboard with sticky notes on it. The next scene has planners and surveyors in the Melton area looking over a suggested site.
Voiceover: The end result of this planning is a business case that is submitted to government for approval. The business case outlines the issues, solutions, timeframes and costings for a new hospital in Melton.
IMAGES: Animated business case document, with various pages portraying the elements of a finished business case to government.
Voiceover: Right now, we want to hear from you about your experiences using the current health services around Melton. What’s working well, what isn’t, and what new services you’d like to see in your area.
IMAGES: A character sits in front of their PC screen, with the online survey on screen. They begin filling in sections of the survey.
Voiceover: Adding your voice will help us build a new Melton Hospital, one that delivers the best possible care for you and your family.
IMAGES: A group of staff, patients and families are seen in the reception area of a hospital.
A sliding transition screen then displays the Victorian Health and Human Services Building Authority logo, the web address vhhsba.vic.gov.au and the Victoria State Government logo.
