New ambulance branches in Ararat, Inglewood, Karingal and Rochester are on the way

We’ve appointed builders to construct new ambulance branches in Inglewood, Karingal and Rochester. A builder has also been appointed to upgrade the Ararat ambulance branch.

This means paramedics will have the facilities and support they need to quickly respond to local emergencies.

Ararat

Bowden Corporation has been appointed to refurbish the Ararat ambulance branch on Basham Street in Ararat.

The bigger and better branch will feature:

  • a new Mobile Intensive Care Ambulance (MICA) covered space
  • new medical and delivery storage
  • improved training facilities and amenities for paramedics.

The Ararat ambulance branch upgrades are expected to be completed in the second half of 2022.

  • two rest and recline areas
  • training facilities
  • a fully equipped kitchen
  • improved security and car parking for staff.

The new Inglewood ambulance branch is expected to be completed in late 2022.
