New Kew ambulance branch opens

We're boosting ambulance resources Kew, giving paramedics the facilities and support they need to quickly respond to local emergencies.

The new Ambulance Victoria branch operates 24 hours a day, providing vital emergency care to communities in Kew and surrounding suburbs.

The location of the new branch on Normanby Road allows ease of access to main roads and major sites including St George’s Hospital, schools, shopping precincts and community facilities.

The new ambulance branch features:

  • a four-bay ambulance garage
  • training facilities
  • rest and recline areas
  • improved security and car parking.

Ambulance Victoria Development Program

The Victorian Government has committed around $249 million since 2015-16 to upgrade and rebuild ambulance stations.
