Orygen Youth Health intensive care area upgrade now complete

The $6.2 million upgrade of the intensive care area at Orygen Youth Health in Footscray is complete.

The upgrade includes four new inpatient beds and enhanced living, private and treatment spaces. The new intensive care area will help Orygen Youth Health provide safe and appropriate clinical treatment options for acute mental illness and ensure young people can access treatment and care close to home and support networks.

The project was delivered in partnership with Western Health, North Western Mental Health and Orygen Youth Health.
