Expressions of interest: Swan Hill emergency department redevelopment – Main works

Expressions of interest (EOI) are now open for a main works contractor on the $48.7 million Swan Hill emergency department redevelopment.

Submissions close at 2.00 pm on 25 August 2022. Following evaluation, a request for tender will be issued to shortlisted contractors. The successful contractor is expected to be appointed in January 2023.

The Swan Hill emergency department redevelopment is a new building on the existing Swan Hill District Health site. The project will deliver:

  • a new emergency department with more treatment spaces, an isolation room and a behavioural assessment room
  • a new entry on McCrae Street
  • eight extra points of care for a total of 15 new points of care
  • a four-bed short stay unit.

The project now seeks expressions of interest from suitably qualified contractors for the main works construction.
