Improving Victoria’s mental health
The program is part of the Victorian Government’s commitment to improve access to mental healthcare and alcohol and drug services. It ensures mental healthcare services continue to provide safe and therapeutic environments for Victorians on their recovery journey.
Since 2016 more than 100 infrastructure and improvement projects have been funded. These upgrades are in response to the recommendations of the Royal Commission into Victoria’s Mental Health System. They are designed to reform, modernise, and build service capacity, and provide better models of care for people experiencing mental ill health.
